From selecting the perfect pumpkins for carving, to the level of skill and expertise that goes into each work of art. Your pumpkin is sure to be a one of a kind hit. We carefully clean each hand picked pumpkin and carve within 24 hours of delivery to ensure that your pumpkin arrives fresh--giving you more time to display your masterpiece. We ship our pumpkins all across the United States. Maniac Pumpkin Carvers also create digital assets featuring our pumpkin carvings and artwork for brands and networks across the globe.

Maniac Pumpkin Carvers started out as a labor of love but quickly spiraled into something that is so much more. Founders, Marc Evan (@marcmaniac) and Chris Soria (@chrissoria), have been collaborating creatively for over 20 years, creating all manner of artistic wonders. The roots of Maniac go back to while Marc and Chris were still in high school. Each year they spent weeks transforming a section of the school into a series of successfully terrifying Haunted Houses. Later, while both studying at Parsons School of Design, the duo rekindled their love for Halloween by discovering a passion for pumpkin carving. Experimenting and developing their own styles and techniques with a new art medium, Marc and Chris, began to push the boundaries of what had previously been achieved with pumpkin. Word of mouth spread about the carvings. And after a couple of very flattering stories in the press, bigger clients like the New York Yankees, Food Network and Martha Stewart began to request their services. It was then, that Maniac Pumpkin Carvers was formed with the mission of creating the best pumpkin artwork available. What started in a basement apartment has now grown to a full creative studio, with a dedicated team of talented artists and pumpkin carvers. Each season we have been lucky to find increasingly awesome spaces to house our pop-up studios, which we refer to as Maniac HQ. In 2020 we moved our studio from Brooklyn to Nyack. For the 2021 & 2022 seasons we have been taking advantage of an incredible space at Ridge Hill, in Yonkers NY.
Maniac Pumpkins have been displayed at The Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, Yankee Stadium, and across all forms of media each Fall. Appearances include Good Morning America, Rachael Ray, The Kitchen, The Chew, Martha Stewart, Wired, Popular Mechanics, Yahoo News, CNN, and so many more. Each year they continue to elevate the art of pumpkin carving. Winners of Food Network's Halloween Wars, they have impressed viewers worldwide, with their carving skills and talents. Maniac’s many years of expertise in the field was additionally recognized when Marc Evan was selected as a judge on the relaunch of Food Network’s competition show, Outrageous Pumpkins.

Outside of the Fall season, Maniac Co-Founders Marc Evan and Chris Soria are fine artists and active muralists. The Maniac team is comprised of artists with a wide range of disciplines, including fine arts, illustration, concept design, sculpture, toy design, street art, filmmaking, and art education.
